How to Order a Custom Pet Portrait
Ordering a bespoke hand-drawn portrait of your beloved pet is simple! Just follow these steps and I'll take care of the rest.
Step 1: Choose Your Portrait
Browse the shop and select the portrait style and size that suits you. Options may include coloured pencil, pastel, or acrylic paint — check each listing for details.
Step 2: Place Your Order
Add your chosen portrait to your basket and proceed to checkout. In the order notes or personalisation field, please include:
- Your pet's name
- Any specific details or preferences (e.g. background style or any adaptations you require - removing a collar for example)
Step 3: Send Your Photos
After placing your order, email your reference photos to bongobubbles_portraits@yahoo.com with your order number in the subject line. For the best result, please send:
- At least 2–3 clear, well-lit photos of your pet
- A close-up of their face
- Photos taken in natural light where possible
Step 4: Approval & Creation
Once I receive your photos, I'll give you an estimated time frame for completion. When I start your order, I will contact you to let you know and I'll get to work on your portrait. Depending on the current order queue, please allow up to 6 weeks for completion. I will send multiple work-in-progress previews for your approval before finishing.
Step 5: Delivery
Your finished portrait will be carefully packaged and posted to you. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details once it's on its way.
